Dream Big, Work Hard, Go Far!

Lusha Wang

Lusha was born in Central China and raised by her mother. She excelled at painting as a child, but was discouraged by her mother in favor of a career in law. After graduating high school, Lusha moved to Beijing to study law, but while she was a student, she opened her own clothing store on campus and sold online as well.  By the time she moved to the United States, she knew that she wanted to pursue fashion design instead of law.  While studying English, she enrolled in some fashion classes.  Since then, she has decided to follow her passions and dreams of one day becoming a fashion designer. She finds inspiration in music, paintings, nature and architecture. In her own words: "Perhaps the area I draw the most from is architecture: the lines, the angles, the dimensions.  My favorite architect is Antoni Gaudi."
